one of my "friends" managed to get a hold of my i/c the other day and although i cringed, expecting the laughter and mocking that has been until now irrevocably linked with any public viewing of my i/c, to my astonishment the only comment i received was "i like it."

*MAJOR KWOK ONN EXPOSION SOUND*

excuse me? i mean, the closest i've gotten to a compliment on THE-DREADED-I/C-PHOTO was lucas' spontaneous rendition of the wailing introduction from "Circle of Life" (ie. MARZIPANYA*... etc)

me: are you serious? this is me at my lowest point in life. this is the single most humiliating picture ever! (besides the one on my ez-link, where i look like a dolphin. THANK YOU, UNIVERSITY CONCESSION CARD!)
friendwhomustlovemeverymuch: its okay what
me: i look like a gorilla, or a man, or a druglord.
fwmlmvm: no, it still looks like you.
me: yes, the face that launched a thousand police cars.

*disclaimer: apparently the actual lyrics are "Nants ingonyama bagithi Baba". throw your hands in the air if you'd actually recognise these lyrics outside of context.
