I really have to come up with a new layout.
Harry Potter Deathly Hallows will be two movies! Yayyyy! I wish they'd show them one after the other, like a 6 hour extravaganza with an interval in the middle. Awesome! Sadly, it's going to be a 6 month interval, while I vent my frustration by buying Miffy a whole new bunch of stuff! STUFF! I love stuff. My mum, sadly, is very anti-stuff, and says if I buy Miff any more stuff we'll have to move house.
I'd really like a 'Snape is Good' badge ):
Miffy at food time (and the new command I'm trying to teach her). That's Mugglecast in the background, with the weird rock version of the movie theme. For some reason she always dashes to me if I'm photographing or filming her. Sorry for the quality and for me forgetting which camera angle I started with.

Italian friend: ... I mean, the Romans killed Jesus in such a horrible way.
him: Yeah, well you know, Rome is in Italy.
Italian friend: Oh my god, ITALIANS KILLED JESUS????
I am so hooked to podcasts. Podcasts are my new best friend. Thank you, podcasts, for filling my life with meaning, and ending monotonous bus rides forever. Since most of the podcasts I'm listening to are Melissa, John and Sue (and now Frak, what kind of a name is that, I ask you?) happily obsessing about Harry Potter, I suddenly feel like writing a book.
No, no, not a book about a girl named Sally who discovers she's a witch and goes off to school. I am not yet that desperate, NTU's infinite plagiarism policies have worked, rejoice, NTU! The thing is I really don't know what on earth I'm going to write about, does anyone have a story in need of a writer? I am zero creative thought but I like to write, and my life is just too boring for journaling anymore, I am beginning to be tempted to make things up. April 5th, Mas Selamat kidnapped me when I was walking to endless tuition classes and told me of his next dastardly deed.
Give me some crazy ideas, friends!
Finally I have a bunny! Behold, the obsession.

mmm... foot.

The ultimate best thing ever about having a rabbit has to be seeing Les waving a stuffed leopard at it, shouting "HAKUNA MATATA! HAKUNA MATATA!", while Miffy calmly chews on an alfafa stalk, looking at me like "So what else is there to eat around here?"

Correction!
We're currently holed up in MacLab3, stuck listening to this guy who has been talking to the wall for the past 15 minutes. Really, I mean, the class is in front of him, but he's been facing the wall on the far right, and talking, and talking. He's teaching us how to use the mac os. He just said "Kawaii!" in a very disturbing cute way, and then made this ROCK-ON! gesture with his hand, as if he'd just said something extremely cool and was expecting us all to start a mosh-pit right there and then.
When we bought the hamsters, we also bought a whole range of various accessories, including this hamster bathing sand. I've had hamsters before, and it's always fun to watch them roll in this sand, although the mechanics of how this actually makes them cleaner and not just, well, sandier, escapes me. Rasputin (Ling's hamster) knows how to roll, but Penny doesn't. She dug around for a while, then pooped, then tried to get out of the container, then pooped again, and then almost as a last desperate attempt to impress me, she started EATING THE SAND.
Correction: I have been humbly corrected. I was looking through someone's playlist and saw Lea Salonga as the artist for the songs, and since she's been the singing voice for other animated features, I assumed. According to my anonymous post-er, it was Liz Callaway. Thanks!

Anastasia, Rasputin and Penny.
Those are the names of our hamsters. Vivienne, Ling and I ventured to Pets Station at Jurong Point last tuesday (i think) with the intention of "just looking". Ha. The weakness of women and cuteness in all forms.
Ling fell in love with this hissy thing that was going for $5. "How come this one is only $5 ah?" "HISS! HISS! *bares teeth* SQUEAAK!" "Ah." Ling: "Oh no! I want it!" We called it Rasputin, and then of course, we had to find an Anastasia, right?
I picked a very pretty hamster, but she didn't look like an Anastasia, so I called her Penny instead. Penny likes to eat. When I pick her up, I can flip her over to lie on her back and she won't struggle at all (Ling discovered this, surprise surprise. Ling also bathes poor Rasputin every day, sometimes up to three times a day. Thus, Rasputin has taken to brooding on evil plots to kill us all during the day, instead of sleeping like a normal hamster.) Instead, she just looks at me, mildly shocked. "Oh, am I upside down? I'm not sure.." And then she regurgitates her stored food all over me. Today she actually leaned forward from this position, cool as you please, to pick up the poop she'd just pooped from her hamster butt, and tossed it dismissively into the air, like "Huh! Poop!". It landed on my forearm. Ew.
Anastasia, the hamster Vivienne chose, is a sports buff. A very fat sports buff though, but it doesnt stop her from trying. She runs at alarming velocity on her wheel, and recently she's taken to scaling the walls of her cage. Except she cant do more than leaning against the side and grabbing the wire weakly with her front paws. Then, after a few miliseconds of progressless wiggling (which i assume is meant to be her attempts to climb higher), she loses her balance and flops backwards onto her back, and flails for another few seconds to try to upright herself. It's a sad, sad world for obese hamsters, people.
