i downloaded an episode of
lost which somehow turned into the ENTIRE movie of pearl harbour. after the initial shock though, i resigned to my fate pretty well i think, since i've never watched pearl harbour. im halfway through (because this movie is supercalifredulistically long!) but i really hope that the nursegirl ends up with ben affleck, because he has a nicer accent and he survived a plane crash (!!!) which proves his superhuman powers (refer to any random plane crash, the movie
alive, or shannon and boon from
lost to see what
should have happened to him) so if they grow old together at least he'd have the courtesy to die last and not leave the nursegirl to be sad and lonely AGAIN. under pain of death, do not tell me who she ends up with.
sadly though, the people who are circulating this version of pearl harbour are probably japanese, which is all nice and dandy except that there are no subtitles when the japanese people are talking, so i'm left to imagine what fantastic secrets the japanese commanders are telling each other. luckily, i know what happened at pearl harbour. either that or i was sharp enough to catch the hints from all the scenes of random japanese people dressed in uniform pushing model boats around on a map, or drawing boats on a chalk board and then surrounding them with menacing arrows. i also learnt that japanese people like to throw the word "kamikazee" around alot when they wear army uniforms, and that they are fond of renaming movies "lost ep210", even if the movie happens to, say,
not be "lost ep210".
anyway today was zoo! among other things we saw...

i think the way he curled around the branch was quite cool eh..

the loneliest merecat in the world! (yea.. i didnt bring my zoom lens so that was as close as i could get.)

a book made from elephant poop full of... drawings of elephants (duh, you think the elephants who selflessly give their poop would settle for lions on their poop-paper?! obviously you know nothing about the
real world, you jc junkie.)

yes, that is candy clapping at a peahen, one of her many methods in trying to get it to spread its tail. meditate on the word peahen for a while.

like i said, one of
many methods.
