MACBOOK!

yes indeed.

I LOVE MY COMPUTER! there isnt really much homework to be done yet, so i've pretty much been playing chess most of the time. and losing in five moves. this computer sure has brains.

the only complaint i have so far, besides the massive ache in my arm i got from carrying my beautiful white soulmate around for two hours at the ntu cca fair, is that the battery power seems a little temperamental.

the macbook is supposed to possess "up to 6 hours" of fun fun fun! but mine seems perpetually stuck at 3:50, which goes much too quickly, unless of course 3:50 means three minutes and 50 seconds. i checked it up on apple.com and clicked on Maximise Your Macbook Battery Use! the suggested approach was to turn off Bluetooth and Airport, unplug all unnecessary extras, turn off unnecessary music and video playback, close all unnecessary programs and naturally, it would help if you turn your Macbook settings to go on sleep mode after being idle for 5 minutes.

so basically, claire, you're going to have to cut out all of those unnecessary things you do on your computer. if i want it to run for 6 hours, the most i can do according to apple.com, is absolutely nothing. oh yes, of course i can keep it on, they are very generous with that. i mean, i get to stare at my blank desktop for SIX HOURS, how cool is that? well, of course when i say SIX HOURS, i really mean five minutes, because after that the Macbook will go into sleep mode. thank you, apple!
