Based on the life of Georgette Chen (1907-1993) - one of Singapore's most distinguished 'pioneer' artists to emerge from the Singapore Art circle in the 1950s.

A much-loved artist because of the romance that surrounded her life, learn about her life experiences such her studies in the Parisian art world, marriage to Eugene Chen, the Foreign Minister of China, and period of house arrest during the Japanese Occupation, that have influenced her work and moulded her to become such an influential artist till today.

Hooray hooray! I am not very good at selling things, (regardless of what DISC thinks!) and so this is the best that I can do. Rehearsals have been challenging but exhiliarating, and I'm so happy to be singing again! The music is lovely, the cast is fantastically talented (despite the addition of Claire "Sore-throat" Matthews, who has never really recovered from trying to get forty primary 5 kids to listen to her on a regular basis). Come and enjoy!
